gameday pasta salad

this past weekend we made the hike down to jacksonville for the georgia vs. florida game. it's always fun to go down to the beach for the weekend and tailgate with friends for the game but it's a lot of work to get everything together. this pasta salad recipe is super simple and makes for the perfect side at any tailgate. served with some cold friend chicken and potato chips and you've got an affordable, delicious and easy spread with out spending hours in the kitchen. so next time you attend a tailgate, you have the perfect dish to contribute.

what ya need:

tri color rotini pasta
black olives
grape tomatoes
parmesan cheese
olive oil
lemon
salt & pepper

bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta for 10 - 12 minutes. drain and add to large bowl. add salt, pepper, olive oil and the juice of half a lemon.  mix well.

chop the cherry tomatoes and black olives and add to the pasta mixture, along with the parmesan cheese. mix well and allow flavors to sit for an hour. add salt & pepper to taste.

ENJOY!
